Biography

A lifelong performer, Beatrice, began training in ballet at just four years old, also studying tap and modern, building a strong classical foundation that continues to inform her fluidity, posture, and musicality.

In her twenties, Beatrice discovered belly dance and was drawn to its expressive depth, musicality, and sense of connection. She trained with a range of internationally recognised teachers and developed a strong foundation in FatChance® Style and contemporary fusion approaches, continuing to refine her practice through ongoing study, teaching, and performance.

Her performance repertoire has included contemporary fusion, cabaret belly dance, Indian dance influences, fire performance, and stilt walking. Known for her elegant yet powerful stage presence, Beatrice brings together classical refinement with grounded, expressive movement and theatrical storytelling.

Since 2007, Beatrice has taught classes and workshops, supporting dancers at a wide range of levels. From 2007 to 2013, she also hosted Shangri-La Lounge, an annual vaudeville-inspired belly dance and variety event in Nottingham that brought together dancers, and performers from across the UK and Europe.

During this time, she also performed regularly performed with FCBD® troupe Koyuki, and as part of the Lambhorse Cabaret Vaudeville Circus Troupe.

After completing her FCBD® teacher training in 2009, she founded Nottingham Tribal Bellydance company and contributed to the growth of the dance community during that period.

In 2013, Beatrice relocated to Malaysia, later moving to Spain in 2017. Living internationally for over a decade broadened her perspective and influenced her creative work. She returned to England in 2025.

Today, Beatrice’s work is rooted in strong technique, musical interpretation, and expressive performance. Her style reflects both early classical training and a global life journey, and she remains committed to ongoing study, always seeking to grow, deepen her understanding, and continue learning.
